Message from the Principal
Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
All staff would sincerely like to thank you for your support throughout this term.
It has been a challenging term with children and staff absent due to illness and we now look forward to a restful break in readiness for Term 3.
Unfortunately, a number of Parent /Teacher Interviews needed to be postponed. These will be rescheduled for Week 2, Term 3.
We say farewell to Mrs Vicki Colley and Ms Lauren Madeley and welcome Mrs Merran Bradley and Kristy Glover to the Year 5 MC classroom for the remainder of the school year.
We also look forward to Miss Justine Shields returning to Year 4. I thank Mary Wilson and Michele Glover for their work in Year 4.
CHILD SAFETY:
Just a reminder for parents to be aware of what children may be accessing or sharing online during the holiday period.
Please check the E-Safety Commissioner site for tips on how to support your child when using electronic devices, phones, ipads, x- boxes etc. Children are open to a larger, broader community than their own friendship group when online gaming, snap-chatting, instagramming, tik-toking etc. Even amongst friendship groups, information can be shared that may be upsetting. We remind children to use their devices responsibly.

NEXT TERM
Next term, we look forward to the swimming program and I remind parents and carers to complete permission slips via PAM.
Details regarding Year 6 camp will be released in Week One of Term Three.
The school will also undergo a School Review process by external reviewers. They will examine the work of the school during the period of 2019 and 2022 in light of the school’s strategic plan. It is an opportunity to identify strengths and areas for improvement, moving forward.
Once again we wish all our children and their families a well deserved break.
We are grateful for all that has been achieved this term. I particularly thank all those who have volunteered to assist with the casserole bank. Please know your efforts have been very much appreciated and all recipients would like to thank you.
Take care, keep safe and warm,
God Bless
Anita and staff
We thank you Lord, for this term. For our challenges, our successes, and the mistakes from which we have learnt. Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends.
Give us strength and courage to do what is right: to be witnesses of our faith. Help us to be a practical Christian these holidays, to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help others. To be peacemakers in our family.
Keep us safe in our activities; give us good rest and good fun. Bring us back refreshed and ready for a new term. We thank you for our classmates, teachers, parents and a community that cares for us.
May we always be conscious of you in our lives.
Amen
