CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION IN SALE
Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
MARY, THE MOTHER OF CHRIST
This week, in our Catholic Church calendar, we celebrated the birthday of Mary, the mother of Jesus. We celebrate Mary's birthday on September 8th each year. Mary plays a significant role in the life of Jesus and in our story of faith. Mary committed her life to God and was open to doing his will, saying “Yes” to being the mother of Christ. We are called to follow God and the invitation to follow Him is extended to each one of us. We pray, that like Mary, we serve God through serving others, reaching out to those in need and being present for those who want to be heard.
REMOTE SCHOOLING
Once again, we congratulate you all for supporting your children during this period of Remote Schooling. As announced earlier in the week, Remote Schooling will continue into Term Four, with all children starting the new term on Monday October 12th, 2020. We will continue to monitor government announcements and inform you any changes that may take place.
SCHOOL CAMPS
All families should have received a notification that school camps scheduled for the year will not be taking place. A letter will be going out next week informing families of rebates to be credited to accounts. Casey Johnson is working very hard to process all rebates. More details are to follow.
CHILD SAFETY
Just a reminder that students are to only use their school email addresses and school devices for school purposes.
We also alert parents and guardians to be mindful of what their children are doing on their devices and the social media platforms they are using, after some very disturbing footage was embedded into frequently used platforms earlier this week. Information regarding how you may approach managing and discussing inappropriate material with your child was sent out at this time and we hope you found this useful.
FINAL WEEK OF TERM THREE
Next week, will be the final week of Term Three with the last day of learning scheduled for Friday 18th September. Learning packs for the first week of Term Four will be available on Friday October 2nd between 8.45 am and 3pm. The stadium will be open for parents during this time. An app will be sent out in the second week of the holidays as a reminder.
TERM FOUR
Information regarding the return of all students of Term Four will be shared with you during the first week of Term Four. This will allow us to include up to date information from both government and school authorities. School drop off and pick up arrangements will also be included in this information.
Wishing you all a lovely and restful weekend and thanking you sincerely for all your support.
Enjoy your weekend.
Take care
If your financial circumstances have been affected during the current restrictions, please contact us to discuss concession options for Term 3. Applications will close next Wednesday 17th September. You may still apply even if you have paid your Term 3 instalment.

And she gave birth to her firstborn son
