Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
We have thoroughly enjoyed having our children back at school and we thank you for all your efforts during Remote Schooling. We understand that it was a challenging time for a number of families as they juggled a variety of commitments. Congratulations to you all!
CHILD SAFETY
Yesterday, you would have received an update of guidelines that impact various school activities. The current focus is to minimise the number of visitors on site to “essential visitors only”, hence, the return to “dropping off” and “picking up” at gates. Any children who feel a little insecure may enter via the admin gate with their parents/carers and we can assist with the transition to the classroom.
All essential visitors are to use the QR code, wear face masks and social distance. At present, the traffic near gates is free flowing and we thank you for not congregating and moving swiftly to your cars.
Please know that we regularly review guidelines as they evolve and adjust them accordingly.
We do remind families that children may arrive any time after 8.30am. We have a number of bike riders arriving well before this time and ask that they revise the time they leave home for school.
SCHOOL ATHLETICS
Children will continue to train for athletics during their PE sessions in anticipation of hosting our school athletics later in the term. It appears we have some very keen olympians who would love to compete for their house team.
PARISH BLESSINGS
Father Peter and Father Jithin send their blessings to the entire school community.
They look forward to returning to school to celebrate liturgies and Masses at the appropriate time. Masses have returned to the Cathedral on weekends with density quotients in place. Those wishing to attend Mass are asked to register at the presbytery.
