Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
Firstly, please know that we are here to support you throughout this lockdown period and I encourage you to communicate with your child’s classroom teacher when necessary.
We also encourage you to make use of the Daily messages in PAM and to check your emails for regular communications. PAM and email are the main means of communication with links to PAM also available on the website.
Onsite registration during lockdown is also available via PAM. Again the link is on the website.
IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION: Maria Kirkwood, the Director of Cathoilic Education, Sale Diocese and the Bishop of Sale, the Most Reverend Gregory Bennett
Today, you will receive a very important communication attached to the newsletter from Maria Kirkwood, the Director of Cathoilic Education, Sale Diocese and the Bishop of Sale, the Most Reverend Gregory Bennett, regarding the repurposing of the Sion Convent and buildings.
I ask you to read this information thoroughly as the possibility of relocating St Thomas’ to the Sion site is being considered. If it was to take place, we would be looking at a minimum three year transition period. Much work and consultation needs to be carried out in this space, but the possibility of preserving and continuing the work of the Sion sisters and the story of Catholic Education within our Sale community at the historic Sion Site is exciting, if it is to go ahead.
We will regularly communicate developments to families and staff throughout the feasibility process.
100 DAYS At School
Congratulations to all our Foundation students for reaching the 100 days of Schooling milestone. We hope you enjoy the photos included within the newsletter today.
Athletics & Swimming
Please know the school athletics and swimming have been put on hold until further notice.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
Please reach out to the school if needed during this lockdown period.
God Bless
Anita and Staff
