Our school is a place of faith and learning
Dear Parents and Families,
As we continue through the season of Lent, we pray for those families affected by floods along the east coast of Australia in New South Wales and Queensland. An enormous, uncertain journey lies ahead for many and during this time, feelings of sadness, grief, anger and disbelief as individuals and families struggle to understand what has just occurred and where their future lies. As difficult as it is, we pray that what lies ahead, will be opportunities for life and hope to be restored, a time of new beginnings and a chance to start again with the support of the nation and local communities.
A CELTIC PRAYER
St Patrick Pray for Us
I lay my head to rest, and in doing so, lay at your feet the faces I have seen, the voices I have heard, the words I have spoken, the hands I have shaken, the service I have given, the joys I have shared, the sorrows revealed, I lay them at your feet, and in doing so lay my head to rest. Comfort me oh Lord , in this, one of my darkest hours, when all seems lost, renew my faith in you and the people who surround me. |
God Bless
Anita & Staff

The P & F Committee are running their annual Easter raffle.
We would like to ask families to donate something for the raffle.
It doesn’t have to be an Easter Egg! Any item related to the Easter theme would be appreciated.
The more donations we receive – the bigger the hampers, and more prizes to be won!
Please drop your donations at the school office by Friday April 1st 2022.
Hot Cross Bun Day
On Tuesday 29th March, we will be holding a Hot Cross Bun morning at recess. The cost of each Bun will be $1.50. Please fill in the slip provided and return to school with payment by FRIDAY 25th March.

BUNNINGS SALE: This is a last minute reminder that we are doing a national Bunnings Art Show this weekend! It may not be much of a competition at this point – we need people to show up!
It is on this Sunday, from 2-4pm in the Café. We supply everything (hot drink included ), and our crafters create a bunnings-inspired workpiece in the 2 hours, which is then put on display for customers to vote for their favourite.
First prize is $200 bunnings gift card for the Non For Profit community group of winners choice, plus a $100 bunnings gift card for themselves.
Second prize is $100 bunnings gift card for the Non For Profit community group of winners choice, plus a $50 bunnings gift card for themselves.
Third prize is $50 bunnings gift card for the Non For Profit community group of winners choice, plus a $20 bunnings gift card for themselves.
It will be a lot of fun and a chance to get some bunnings cash for your school/kinder.
If you or anyone you know is interested please let them (and me) know!
Older students, parents, friends and teachers are all welcome to give it a go!
There are sign-up sheets available near the entry to Bunnings, or shoot me an email or call the store and leave me a message SaleAO@bunnings.com.au
