At St Thomas’ Sale, we implement the Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Initiative.  As a school community, we have developed our three School Wide Expectations of Respect, Resilience and Safety. These School Wide Expectations are positive and ‘teachable’; which means they are regularly used as valuable learning opportunities across all areas of our school.

The major focus of the Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour initiative is to create and sustain positive partnerships for all members of the school community. Students, teachers, support staff, administrative staff, parents and families all play a key role in our school being a respectful, resilient and safe environment.

Our aim is to:

  • create and maintain a culture of building resilience within our staff, students and families;
  • develop and maintain respect for all;
  • ensure that everyone - staff, students and families feel safe in our environment.

We are proud to be working and learning in an environment where we all strive to be Respectful, Resilient and Safe.
